Chuck-Off 2007

Following the great success of Daveaminal's fun competition, we decided a few months later to organize another one!

Expanding on the DFC's format, we announced 7 categories, and invited members to register.

There were some complaints that the system used to divide contestants in the DFC (amount of time using nunchaku) was somewhat arbitrary as it didn't take the intensity of training into account. Someone who's practiced every day for a year, might be better than someone who's picked them up occasionally for four years. So for the Chuck-Off 07 we went for...

A full listing of the rules can be found here. Like the DFC, clips should be all one take, with no editing, but we upped the time limit to two minutes. The exception was the director category, which was four minutes and allowed editing of clips together.

We had a total of 10 videos entered for the DFC. The Chuck-Off was much more popular, and we recieved a massive 48 videos! Unfortunately nobody who registered for the Warrior category actually entered a video, so that part was canceled, but the rest was another great success!
