Daveaminal's Fun Competiton

The first ever freestyle forum competition was proposed by Daveaminal. There was no prize, it was all just for a laugh.

Entrants were split into categories based on amount of experience with nunchaku at the time of registration. There were orginally four groups, 1 month to 1 year, 1 year to 2 years, 2 years to 8 years, and over 8 years.

A deadline was set to close registration, and another for video submissions.

Freestyles could be single or double nunchaku, but not fire-chux, so that the techniques performed could be clearly seen.
Each video entry had to be under a minute of freestyle, in one single take (no editing).

Unfortunately, not enough of the entrants for the most experienced group actually submitted their videos in time, so the last two groups were collapsed into one, 'over 2 years'.

Each forum member was allowed one vote in each category for their favourite video in a blind ballot, with voting open for seven days. Between 33 and 40 votes were received for each category.
