Passes Theory - by Kriztov

For an introduction to passing, first watch these two video from Kriztov.

Kriztov tends to forget what he's saying half-way through a video and ramble around a bit, but they're very useful as introductions. So what ideas have we learnt so far?

Pass - a way of moving from one stance to another, passing the nunchaku from one hand to the other.

Mirror pass - moving from one stance to the mirrored version on the other side.

Straight pass - moving directly from one stance to another, without adding extra circles, or figure eights, or rolls, etc, into the motion.

Kriztov demonstrates a few mirror passes in these videos.
Upswing passes: shoulder pass, back pass, under-the-leg (UTL) pass, elbow pass, tangle pass
Downswing passes: shoulder pass, elbow pass

Kriztov also demonstrates a few other, non-mirror passes.
behind-the-neck pass, shoulder-neck wrap pass, neck-shoulder wrap pass, neck wrap pass, behind-the-waist pass, waist wrap

Kriztov claims that it's not possible to move from one wrap directly to anothe wrap. Matt-chez has disputed this and claims it is possible - but has not yet provided evidence to support his claims.
